ABOUT IAN:
Ian Case (he/him) is a senior Arts Administrator with over 35 years of experience administrating arts organizations of various sizes and focuses. Ian is a skilled leader with a deep and comprehensive understanding of all elements of artistic production, creation, development, management. A team builder, he has a proven track record in creating sustainable organizational growth. Ian brings energy and commitment to the work of arts administration. With a comprehensive knowledge of administrative roles and responsibilities, Ian has a strong understanding of government, agency and post-secondary processes and of the funder relationship. He has deep community roots on Vancouver Island as well as a fundamental commitment to the arts. Ian has a long-standing commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility in his work.

EQUITY SEQUENCE® HIGHLIGHTS:
Ian has applied the Equity Sequence® during his 13 year career as the Director of the Farquhar Auditorium and Ceremonies and Events at the University of Victoria. The Sequence had significant and lasting positive impacts on Ceremonies' review of university recognition events. Ian also applied the Sequence when establishing and adminstrating the Indigenous presenting and community engagement series Voices in Circle at the Farquhar at UVic. Ian's use of the Equity Sequence® builds on over 15 years of EDIA learning and application in the arts and culture sector.
