ABOUT LANIE:
Dr. Lockwood has more than 20 years’ experience as a faculty member in postsecondary education, teaching, advising, and administrating & leading, always from an equity-focused approach. A former award-winning television journalist, she taught journalism and communication for 16 years while also being the first to professionalizing academic advising services in her departments. She holds a doctorate in educational leadership, during which she developed a conceptual model and instrument to lead organizational change for more equitable outcomes. Dr. Lockwood is a strategic advisor, thought-partner and innovative problem-solver, focused on equitable organizational practices and outcomes.
